Heyser's Award-Winning Apple Cider

If you've never had Heyser's apple cider you are missing out!
The good news is every fall, once we have enough apples, we start pressing our own apple cider right here at our market. This is traditional, unprocessed apple cider - juice straight from the apples, with nothing added and nothing removed. Foodies know it as "raw cider" - and it's not easy to find these days. Our Spencerville Red apple gives our cider depth and a subtle sweetness... you won't believe how good it is 'til you try it!

Join us at the annual Pumpkin Gulley Cider Festival to taste test a whole slew of ciders, among other fun things.

In early spring we take several batches of our cider to our friends at McCutcheon's to be pasteurized and bottled. You can pick up a bottle at the market as long as supplies last.

Cider also freezes very well, so you can preserve some for yourself - just make room in the freezer, and take some out of the jug to allow for expansion.
